Well finally got here after leaving RAF Cosford on Monday and arrived at 1930hrs on Wednesday evening local time. I was picked up by one of our three RAAF liaison officers Flt Lt Jason Wirth who kindly showed me around Sydney at night and then we drove back the approximately 35 mins to RAAF Glenbrook which is situated high on the first mountain as you head towards the Blue Mountains.
Woke up this morning to wonderful sunshine, only to be told it's due to rain over the weekend! Never mind a 2.30hrs meeting with Jason proven very useful to iron out a couple of issues and also uncover a few others however the scenery from the officers mess is simply breathtaking!
