Daily bloggers: Mathew Morgan & Gareth Hopkins

AVM Skidmore, Gp Capt Grigson & Flt Lt Niki Frost (LO)

Today was the first training session since the New Zealand game and the day started well with myself (Matthew Morgan) thinking that somebody was missing on the bus.........until I realised I hadn't counted myself.

We headed down to the wonderful Penrith RFC where a 'beasting' awaited. Due to the NZ game being such a bruising encounter we were limited on numbers available to train. After training we headed to the officers mess where a BBQ was prepared for us on behalf of the Air Commander Australia Air Vice Marshal Skidmore who gave a short speech and was presented with an RAFRU tie.

After a busy morning we had a quite relaxed afternoon at a local zoo. Ant Gartland has now discovered his favourite animal a Koala Bear to which he grew quite attached. Some on the other hand decided to have a more relaxed afternoon and went to bed Dai Carey!
